Good Morning Buckeye Family:

 

We are pleased to announce that Buckeye’s Food Service Department will be serving SUMMER meals for FREE to community ages 2-18.

We will be handing out 5 days’ worth of Breakfast and Lunch items Starting June

13th and every Thursday thereafter until August 8th. 

Pick up is at our EDGEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL on 2428 Blake RD. South parking lot in the alcove by the back-kitchen door.

 

We encourage you to pre-register your family before the 13th so pick up runs smoothly.  We will need to know the Family name; kid’s names and how many bags are needed and a phone number where you can be reached. Also, this year, we will need to know any Authorized Pick up person for the family in case you the parent cannot pick up yourself.   You will receive a card with your Family name and number and number of meals per car. Please bring this card with you at all pickups. And remember if for some reason you cannot pick up for your family send this card with whoever will be picking up on your behalf. 

 

At first pick up you will also be asked to sign off that your family will not be participating in any other food service program sponsored by USDA.

Staff will be working everyday starting June 3 -June 7th for pre-registration.  Please call 440-990-3210 or 440-990-3211 to pre-register between the hours of 8:00am and 12:00pm.  If you cannot pre-register please have this information ready when you pick up your first bags.  

 

Check out our menus online on our webpage.   We will be serving a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables along with the kid’s favorite meal entrees.  This year however, all items will be re- heat ready for faster and easier prepping.  Microwave instructions will be handed out on the first day to cover the majority of the items needed to be heated.   Thank you for your continued support our goal is to make sure we continue to serve our community with nutritious and healthy meals.
